What We Believe
- WORSHIP
We do not equate musical style with worship. Our goal is not to be contemporary or tradtional . . . but to be authentic and thoroughly Biblical.
- GOD
We believe in God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, each with distinct attributes but without division of nature, three in one. God reveals Himself to us through His creation, through prayer, and through the Scriptures. The only true and Holy God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things that exist.
- BIBLE
We believe that all Scripture is God-breathed, and is living, active, without error, and is our only authority.
- JESUS CHRIST
Because of HIs love, grace, and mercy, God sent His only Son to earth to die on the cross as a substitute for our sins, and then He raised Jesus in victory over death to redeem us from slavery to sin. All authority belongs to Jesus, His Son and He deserves our absolute obedience in order to reflect His holiness and His character to a lost world and to bring honor to the Father.
- HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is the fully divine Spirit of God. He indwells the believer and through His guiding and empowering presence the believer is able to live the new life in Christ.
- MAN
Man was created perfect in the image of God but due to his willful rebellion, lost fellowship with God. As a result, all people apart from Christ are eternally separated from God.
- SALVATION
Only through confession and repentance of our sin and surrending our lives in faith to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior can we be forgiven and receive God' s free gift of salvation and eternal life.
- SPIRITUAL GIFTS
Every believer is spiritually gifted when they become a Christian. We believe that every believer should seek to discover and understand their gifts so that by utilizing their gifts within the body of Christ (local church), they can: glorify God, build up the body of Christ, be obedient to God's commands, grow as a Christian, and receive the blessings God has for them.
